Laundry

I had to move the laundry from the washer to the dryer and I asked Arya to help me remember to do it. She reminded me and offered to help. I might actually get more laudry done now with my little helper, actually I think she could do it all on her own. I should have thought of this earlier. What else can I teach her to do? Clean toilets? Dust? Vacuum?

Aunt ?????

Aunt Colleen is here for a visit. For some reason Arya is having trouble remember her name, she just calles her, "her." We were riding in the car home from dinner. We asked Arya what "her" name is and Arya being the silly girl that she is says, "Susie" with a little giggle. Next she said Colleen's name is "Bob" with more giggles.

Candy Sneak

Mike and I were doing some well needed straightening up. Arya was helping as much as a two year old does. Then she quietly slipped away. She had found a small bag of "mommy's candy" on the counter. She has long arms. I heard a crunching sound coming from the kitchen and looked in there to see Arya under the kitchen table. When I asked what she was doing, she honestly said, "eating mommies candies." We asked where she got them and showed us the spot on the counter where she found them. We told her she had to ask before she could have candy again and she immediately asked, "Candy please?"
