Backyard water fun!

We had some friend over on Friday to play in the backyard in the little pool, it was a great day. It wasn't too hot for us to sit out and watch the kids play, but it was hot enough for them to have fun in the water. I think all the kids favorite thing to do was to slide into the pool on the little slide, they all went down it over and over and over again.

Zoo Trip

I was on Facebook one morning and one of my friends posted that she was going to the zoo that day. I thought "Wow, what a great idea," It was a relatively cool day in May in Arizona. We packed up the car and headed to the zoo. We met our friends there and has a great time.

Swimming

We finally dipped into our pool this year. Arya loves to swim and because she has been in swim lessons for 2 years now she is quite the little fish.
Lyra sat by the side of the pool and watched.

My New Craft Room

We decided since we aren't going to be moving anytime soon, we would do fix up some things in our house. We put in a Murphy bed and cabinets in our guest/craft/computer room. It is going to make my scrapbooking easier and more accessible. We also added cabinets in both garages, we really did need more storage room in this house.

Lyra's Cute Little Toes.

Lyra found her feet a little while ago. She thinks it is fun to put them in her mouth. She laughs when she does it, which is usually when I am trying to change her diaper, but can't because she has her feet. We struggle and laugh the whole time.

Lyra 4 Months Old

Lyra is now 4 months old. She is 13 pounds 1 ounce and 25 inches long. She is getting so big. She can now roll over both ways and loves to grab onto her toys. She had been making all kinds of new sounds.

Lyra's New Bouncer

We got out the bounce Lyra got from her Aunt Colleen. She loves it. She likes to look at the animals all around it, she even figured out right away how to turn herself in it and grab all the little toys on it. I love it because it gives me a fun place to put her while I make dinner, or clean a little, or even take a shower. Thanks so much Aunt Colleen and Uncle Nick.

Happy Mother's Day!

Being a mother is the best thing ever! I adore my two little angels. They make everyday so much fun. Arya is a constant wonder. She is incredible smart and she is always saying the funniest things. She keeps me on my toes. Lyra is just growing and changing everyday, and is getting such a cute personality.

It is so much fun to play with Lyra, In the matter of just minutes she shows so much personalilty in all her facial expressions. What a Cutie!

Our garden is growing.

Much to my surprise our garden out back is actually growing. We have three rows of corn and some cantaloupe and pumpkin plants growing. Arya has been excited to see how big and fast the corn is growing. She checks on them just about everyday. We may get some actual food from them, we'll see they still have a long way to go.

Arya loves to play in the backyard, now that it is getting hot we'll be out there a lot less. Here she is climbing up and jumping off her little jungle gym.

Roger, Penny and the boys come to visit.

Roger, Penny, Kyle and Jake came out to Arizona for a visit. Roger and Kyle spent a lot of their time in the pool. Some of us thought the water was still a little too cold to swim. We also went to the park a couple of times. Arya, Sophia and Kyle all played really well together. Arya liked doing puzzles, drawing and swimming with her cousins. It is always nice to see them. I wish they didn't live so far away.
